A continuación se muestran algunos de nuestros increíbles aliados.
Reset Earth
By working with the South African company Rooftop, Zamia Media developed lesson plans and a distribution strategy to support the Montreal Protocol and the UN Ozone Secretariat. These efforts aim to help teachers inform and engage students on the importance of ozone protection and environmental conservation.
Video Story Toolkit
As part of the #NatureForAll movement, Zamia Media has developed a comprehensive set of online learning modules to help people tell their conservation stories through video. Available in English, Spanish, and French, this video series guides users through the process of envisioning, writing, filming, editing, and distributing a powerful video—all produced on their phone.
#ReimagineConservation
Zamia Media has supported the IUCN Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP) in designing and launching a new catalytic campaign aimed at challenging the myths and preconceived ideas that hinder the environmental movement. This work includes conceptual support, logo design, video storytelling, animation production, and website development, which can be explored at https://www.reimagineconservation.global/
Saving the Golden Eagle
With financial support from the Mexican Fund, Zamia Media partnered with the Mexican NGO ENDESU to create a new and sustainable funding model to protect Mexico’s national bird, the golden eagle. This “Ambassador” and “Champion” program is proving to be a powerful tool for fundraising and raising awareness about the critical situation of the Golden Eagle.
Supporting BFREE to Grow
Zamia Media is working with BFREE to strengthen its communication and outreach mechanisms in order to build a sustainable funding model. As a flagship, world-class field station, the BFREE site is home to some of the most remarkable species still found in Belize.
COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy
In collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of Saint Lucia, Zamia Media has conducted a series of workshops in Saint Lucia to address concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine. These workshops have focused on strategy development, COVID-19 storytelling, and public engagement interventions.
Restoring U.S. Estuaries
Zamia Media supports the design and communication plan for the 10-year flagship publication of Restore America's Estuaries, “The Economic Value of U.S. Estuaries.”
Communicating About Migratory Species
Zamia Media works with the United Nations Convention on Migratory Species to develop a communication, engagement, and behavior change strategy to support its important work in reducing risks to migratory species.
Strengthening CitiBanamex Foundation’s NGO Partners
The CitiBanamex Foundation has supported hundreds of NGOs in Mexico working on social, environmental, and justice-related causes. These efforts address some of the most critical challenges facing humanity: ending poverty, providing access to education, improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations, supporting youth, and more.
However, CitiBanamex recognized that many of these outstanding NGOs lack the communication skills needed to effectively promote their causes, attract greater support, and communicate their results in a creative, powerful, and impactful way. For this reason, the CitiBanamex Foundation partnered with Zamia Media to train NGO leaders, staff, and volunteers on how to strengthen their communication and marketing capabilities, enabling these organizations to make their causes more visible.
Ecosistemas
Zamia participates in the Sustainable and Prosperous Communities project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by a consortium led by The Nature Conservancy, in collaboration with Technoserve, Nuup, Findeca, and Dalberg.
The project aims to increase the area under sustainable and profitable production systems with market access in southern Mexico, contributing to the reduction of deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions, while improving the livelihoods of producers and ecotourism service providers.
The Zamia team, together with Ecosistemas, is responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy to ensure that the opportunities generated through this project reach all beneficiaries in an effective and inclusive manner.
Saving Our Sharks Foundation
The Zamia team has partnered with the Saving Our Sharks Foundation to help the organization grow and achieve greater impact. Our approach focuses on building a vibrant, engaged community and movement, while ensuring best practices as a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States.
We are training their communications team to effectively share the foundation’s work, and helping design their communication and fundraising campaigns. Check out our stories section to learn more about this incredible partnership.
Sureste Sostenible
Sureste Sostenible works with the Zamia team on the Kaanbal Suut Program, an initiative created in 2021 by the Mexican Fund for the Conservation of Nature, A.C., with support from the Packard Foundation. The program aims to strengthen civil society organizations and networks in the Yucatán Peninsula to promote their success in advancing conservation impact and the sustainable management of natural resources in a strategic way.
The Zamia team joined in 2022, where they had the opportunity to facilitate and implement the communication and Healthy Finances modules with a group of 25 organizations in the region.
My Green Mongolia
Zamia (Sean Southey) was part of the team that designed the first environmental radio drama in history in support of My Green Mongolia, the country’s new National Environmental Education Campaign, backed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), also known as the German Agency for International Cooperation.
