Ana V. Mandri eng

Ana has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. She has successfully led initiatives ranging from supporting indigenous and rural communities through social marketing strategies to creating financial mechanisms that ensure long-term conservation programs.

Ana is the founder of Zamia Media, where she has supported dozens of nonprofit organizations in marketing and communication. For 15 years, she served as Director of the Fondo de Conservación El Triunfo, where she planned and led an innovative financing program to secure the long-term conservation of one of Mexico’s most biodiverse and threatened regions.

She has developed citizen engagement programs and led creative, successful campaigns and initiatives in education, communication, and fundraising, ensuring a recurring portfolio of donations from national and international companies supporting various social causes.

Ana is also a board member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Commission on Education and Communication and serves as an advisor to several organizations focused on food security, access to education, gender equity, and access to clean water. She is a member of WeAmerica, a social entrepreneurship program, and co-founder of MAM, an online platform that supports women-led initiatives in Latin America.

Ana holds a Master’s degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
